Jean has been a yoga practitioner for over 15 years and has blended her more traditional yoga roots of Ashtanga and Iyengar practice with her Prana Vinyasa training to develop an active, heart opening, vinyasa flow. Her classes string postures together, moving seemlessly from one to another using the breath. This active approach to yoga builds strength and flexibility, while calming the mind and breath. Jean also weaves yoga philosophy and mindful messages throughout the practice.
Jean spends her summer months as an Interpretive Park Ranger in Yosemite’s Tuolumne Meadows. She loves being in the outdoors and spends much of her off time rock climbing, hiking, birding, cross country skiing or working on her house. She welcomes all levels of students and and loves to share this heart warming and breath-oriented practice.
