Allison discovered yoga as a student-athlete and was drawn to the way the practice helped her body recover and prevent injury. The philosophy drew her in deeper, transforming her worldview and helping her navigate challenging times. After dabbling with teaching at her college rec center, Allison completed an immersive teacher training at the Asheville Yoga Center where she studied a variety of vinyasa and restorative styles under several wonderful teachers.
Like many of us who love to recreate in the mountains, Allison comes to her mat to restore her body so she can keep playing outside. In her class you will enjoy a slow procession of poses leading to deeper and longer holds, inviting healing calm to restore and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.
